Jordanian Beef Mansaf
A simplified, family-friendly take on Jordanian mansaf. Tender beef simmered with onion, garlic, cumin, and stock, served over rice and finished with a cool spoon of Greek yogurt. Warming, savoury, and comforting without being complicated.
Instructions-
Fry chopped onion in olive oil until soft, then add garlic and cumin and cook briefly

Add diced sirloin steak and brown on all sides

Pour in beef stock, reduce heat, and simmer 20–25 minutes until tender

Cook rice separately according to packet instructions

Stir a little hot stock into the yogurt to loosen it

Serve beef and sauce over rice, topped with yogurt
