Last updated: April 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Buzzler Meal Planner (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Buzzler Meal Planner is a household planning tool that allows users to record, organise, and manage meals, recipes, and menus for their own reference and convenience.
The Service does not provide advice, recommendations, instructions, or guidance of any kind. It does not determine what users should eat, how food should be prepared, or whether any content is suitable for a particular individual.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date
We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
5. User Content
Users may create, upload, or share content including recipes, meal plans, notes, and images (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences arising from it.
5.1 Shared and Public Content
If you choose to share content with others or make it public, you acknowledge that:
- Other users may view, copy, or use that content for their own purposes
- We do not review, verify, or endorse shared or public content
- We cannot control how shared content is used by other users
If you do not wish content to be shared or reused, do not make it available to others.
5.2 Content Restrictions
You agree not to upload content that:
- Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
- Is unlawful, misleading, harmful, or offensive
- Contains malware or attempts to disrupt the Service
We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion.
6. Kitchens and Shared Access
When you create or join a Kitchen, you agree to share content with other members of that Kitchen. Kitchen administrators control membership and shared content.
We are not responsible for disputes between users or for how shared content is used within a Kitchen.
7. Responsibility for Ingredients and Allergies
All recipes and meal information within the Service are user-provided or user-selected.
We do not review or verify ingredients, identify allergens, or assess suitability for any individual. You are solely responsible for reviewing ingredients, avoiding substances you are allergic to or wish to avoid, and making appropriate choices when preparing or consuming food.
Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Misuse the Service in a way that could reasonably cause harm, distress, or disruption
We reserve the right to determine misuse and take appropriate action.
9. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
10. Subscription Plans
The Service offers different subscription tiers with varying features and limits. Details of current plans are available on the subscription page.
10.1 Free Tier
The free tier is provided at no cost as a courtesy while the Service is operational. The free tier:
- Is subject to the same service availability terms as paid plans
- May be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time without notice
- Does not guarantee continued access to any features or data
- May have reduced features or limits compared to paid plans
We are under no obligation to maintain the free tier indefinitely. If the free tier is discontinued, affected users will be notified and given the option to upgrade to a paid plan or export their data.
10.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes before their next billing cycle.
10.3 Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion, particularly in cases of service disruption or billing errors.
11. No Reliance
The Service is intended for personal organisation only. Information stored in the Service may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
You agree not to rely on the Service as a definitive or authoritative source for decisions or actions.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the Service or reliance on User Content.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or disputes between users.
14. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused the Service.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
